The Distillers Edition bottlings are released each year and take the core of Diageo’s ‘Classic Malts’ collection and finish them in unique wine casks selected by the Master Distiller. This lascivious Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition single malt scotch-whisky comes from one of the most remote distilleries in mainland Scotland, high up in the Grampian mountains.
Distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2016, this expression has undergone an exclusive second maturation in casks previously containing Oloroso Sherry resulting in a big and spicy malt with huge notes of oak and vanilla.
