Our tasting notes.
The nutty malt shines with cinnabon scrolls, the soft, sea breeze and cigar leaf on the nose, while floral notes and fresh stone fruits evolve into a viscous coating of toasted oak and spice on the palate. The finish is extraordinary in length with a sweetness that turns slightly tart. Delicious!

About Craigellachie Distillery
Build in 1891, the distillery is located in the heart of Speyside with the name ‘Craigellachie’ meaning ‘rocky hill’ as it stands alone on a cliff that overlooks the Spey across from The Macallan distillery.
Dewar’s have owned the distillery since Bacardi Martini acquired the company from Diageo in 1998 and their maturation houses are based off-site with the new-make spirit transported from Craigellachie to Dewar’s Glasgow warehousing facilities. The distillery currently has three expressions available, a 13yo, 17yo and 21yo with the remainder of their spirit used in Dewar’s blended whisky and purchased by independent bottlers.
