Official tasting notes.
A whiff of white chocolate, cream and pick ‘n’ mix candy on the nose. Yogurt, candied strawberries. Rich, velvety, buttery for the palate. Sour green apples, citrusy notes, an array of nuttiness. Brief, but throat-tingling and memorable. Brazil nuts, walnuts. And a brisk return of that white chocolate.

Description
Distilled just south of Elgin in Strathspey, this bold single malt shows elegant interplay between its key influences. Laid to rest for 12 peaceful years in a first fill bourbon barrel, the whisky was then finished in a white Port barrel for 3 months and then bottled at 58.8% yielding 288 bottles.
The result is a richness and citrus gifted by its base whisky. Then a melange of sweetness, fruit and nuts from its twin cask hosts. A dozen years in a bourbon barrel, plus its white port wood finish, have resulted in a rare balance. Incredible stuff!
