Official tasting notes
Appearance: Golden walnut brown.
Nose: Fruit and nut chocolate with stewed fruit and oiled oak dipped in crème brulee.
Palate: Unctuous walnut oil and chewy sultanas become nut loaf. A wave of sherry and tangy baked orange leaves hazelnut chocolate into the finish.

Description
For the cask release programme, Master Blender Rachel Barrie selects the finest Spanish oak casks. With maturing whiskies dating back as far as 1968, each batch represents an exquisite collection of sherry butts and puncheons to be bottled as the GlenDronach ‘Limited Release’ Batch series.
This GlenDronach single cask is one of 636 bottles from Batch 16 that was distilled in May 1992 and then matured for 25 glorious years in a single sherry butt.
Rare, collectable and full of stewed fruits and dark chocolate, it’s pure GlenDronach at its very best.
Make sure to check out our portfolio for the other 6 bottles in the Batch #16 series before they’re gone.
