Only seen in Australia a few times a year, this 21-year-old offers fruit-laden intensity and is a bold and full-bodied expression from one of our favourite distilleries; Glendronach.
The name ‘Parliament’ is a collective term for a group of Rooks, so this whisky was named in tribute to all the Rooks that live in the trees near the Glendronach distillery.
Matured in a combination of the finest Oloroso and Sweet Pedro Ximenez Desert Sherry Casks. A delicious dram for a cool winters night!
Silver Medal: Scotch Single Malt – Highland (2013 International Wine & Spirit Competition)
NOSE: Rum cake, toasted oak with hints of sherry and candy cane
PALATE: Dark chocolate, expresso with more sherry and faint orange peel. Huge on the spice.
FINISH: Medium finish with brown sugar and lingering spice
