This rare and delicate single malt Scotch whisky has spent 26 long years quietly maturing in American Oak ex-bourbon casks. The expression was created to honour Glenfiddich’s line of continuous family ownership since William Grant founded the distillery in 1887.

The Distillery tells us:
“Each hand-made cask spends 26 years breathing in pure Highland air through the uniquely porous grain of 70-year-old American “Quercus Alba” oak. Renowned for its exceptional quality, the wood softens the spirit and imparts layers of subtle spice and sweet vanilla flavours that grow more complex over time”

Glenfiddich Excellence 26-year-old whisky is only available in selected markets with Australia’s allocation becoming relatively small.
