Second release in the Glenfiddich experimental series.
Project XX was born when 20 of the whisky industries most exceptional whisky minds from 16 countries came together in secret at the Glenfiddich Distillery. Each expert was given complete freedom to explore the warehouse and choose any single cask whisky that intrigued them the most. The 20 chosen casks were then married together by Malt Master Brian Kinsman and the result is this limited-edition bottling full of summer fruits, candy cane and cinnamon spice.
NOSE: Classic Speyside. A sweet yet mellow grassy beginning followed by sprinkled cinnamon, orange peel and vanilla.
PALATE: Warm and delicate texture with toffee and fairy floss with subtle hints of raisons and hazelnuts.
FINISH: Longish with lingering oak and sweetness.
