Glengoyne 21 Years Old is the result of over two decades of slow distillation and patient maturation in rich sherry casks. Using only unpeated barley and natural colour, this expression showcases the distillery’s commitment to purity and depth.
2025 Packaging & Design Update
In 2025 Glengoyne rolled out a significant packaging refresh for its core aged expressions. The whisky now arrives in a fully recyclable outer box sourced from local suppliers. The bottle itself is made using 49 % recycled glass, reflecting the distillery’s sustainability goals.
The box opens in a gatefold style, revealing a photograph of Dumgoyne Hill by local artist Richard Fox, linking the packaging visually to Glengoyne’s Highland heritage.

Nose: Red apples, spicy strudel, toffee, sherry and dried fruits. Christmas cake in a glass.
Palate: Lots of Sherry, honey, oak with a developing aromatic sensation. Ends with a heavenly cinnamon nip.
