Description
After almost 30 decades of Scottish slumber, this rare Glenlivet presented by Gordon & MacPhail as part of their re-vamped Connoisseurs Choice series is a real diamond. The expression was matured in a refill American oak hogshead for 28 years before being bottled in May 2021, non-chill filtered and with no added colour.
Created in 1968 by whisky visionary, Mr George Urquhart, the ‘Connoisseurs Choice’ range has featured more than 2,000 bottlings from almost 100 Scottish distilleries.

Official tasting Notes
Rich honey aromas combine with lime peel and roasted nuts. Flavours of black pepper lead to tropical fruit and butter-scotch leading to a medium bodied finish lingering citrus.
