Official tasting notes:
Nose: New leather and a touch of sea salt with a little vanilla and cooked apple.
Palate: A little lemon, vanilla, lots of cream, apple crumble, icing sugar and pear tart.
Finish: Oily with citrus notes, milky. The salt re-emerges giving a very coastal finish.

Bottling Notes
Distilled in 1996 and matured in a single bourbon hogshead cask for 20 years, this expression yielded 258 bottles with only a very small amount allocated to our shores. It’s an intriguing bottling with reviews ranging from the sublime and amazing to the curious and perplexed as Cadenhead’s tasting notes don’t mention any of the Highland Park classic peat.
