Description
Hailing from Orkney, this instant classic was laid to rest for 18 quiet years in a second fill Oloroso sherry butt. No finishing cask for this beast. (Please note: The front label on the box and bottle were incorrectly printed). The whisky was bottled at 59.7% ABV with a yield of 285 bottles. The Oloroso maturation has taken on fruity, cherry blossom aromas, a potent labyrinthine liquid exuding syrup and smoke, stone fruit and floral notes. Just perfect!
