Since 2010, Lagavulin have sponsored the Islay Jazz festival in Scotland by releasing a ‘festival exclusive’ limited-edition expression of their scotch whisky that is only available at their distillery in Islay. This release was bottled in 2017 at cask strength after it was matured in a combination of refill American oak hogsheads and Refill European oak butts that yielded 6000 bottles.
