Here’s a rare Cairdeas expression from Laphroaig for all you peat-heads out there. Released in 2012 to commemorate 18 years of the Friends of Laphroaig program, the bottling combines some of the original liquid used to create the first ever Cairdeas expression in 2008. The total vatting including whiskies ranging from 13 to 21 years old that were then married together with newer Laphroaig spirit and laid to rest in Quarter Casks for around 7 years.

It’s a great piece of Laphroaig history all wrapped up in the one bottle.
