Bottling Notes
Here’s a Cadenhead/Linkwood beauty with such an old age statement (26 years) rarely seen on our fine shores. The whisky was distilled when only the modern side of Linkwood distillery was operating. Linkwood (B) was built in 1971 and ran along-side Linkwood (a) until 1985. Linkwood is owned by Diageo and is famous for providing juice for the Bell’s and Haig labels as well as producing malt whiskies for blending by independent bottlers.
As with all Cadenhead bottlings, the small batch series is non-chill filtered with no added colouring.
Australia only receives a very small allocation of Cadenhead each year and this expression is not one to be missed.
