Description
Gordon and MacPhail have offered age statement Linkwood under their new ‘Distillery Labels’ series to the Australian market before, however this time their 15-year-old Linkwood lands at a punchier 46% ABV as opposed to the previous, sold-out 43% iteration. It’s a nice age statement at a great price point matured in quality, first-fill and refill sherry casks.
This range is testimony to the long and unique relationships built over generations. Gordon & MacPhail have been entrusted with new-make spirit from many of Scotland’s distilleries to mature in carefully selected casks and conditions. This highly sought-after collection features the original distillery labels, making these whiskies even more distinct.
About Linkwood Distillery
The Linkwood Distillery is located at Elgin, in the Speyside region of Scotland and is owned by the drinks giant Diageo. Linkwood has long been prized by blenders as the vast majority of production goes into Johnnie Walker and White Horse blends.
Diageo only rarely issue official releases and when they do, these expressions instantly sell out as they’re highly sort after by enthusiasts world-wide. The same principle applies to independent bottlings of Linkwood – Fantastic stuff!
