Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Pineapple, mango, brown sugar, and treacle dominate. Malty richness melds with subtle floral.
Palate: Vibrant. Ripe peaches, candied orange peel, and banana, harmoniously integrated with the malt.
Finish: Long, warming, and satisfying. Juicy tropical fruits linger. Cocoa and toasted oak remain.

Now Officially Available in Australia for the Very First Time
Distilled in December 1998, this exceptional Highland single malt spent 26 quiet years maturing in a refill hogshead before being finished in a delightful rum barrique.
A Two-Stage Cask Journey
What truly sets this release apart is its two-stage maturation. The refill hogshead exerted a gentle, gradual wood influence across the bulk of those 26 years, that quietly allowing the distillery’s core character to deepen and flourish. The rum barrique finish then layered the whisky with an exotic tropical richness, enhancing the spirit without masking it. What a belter!
A Rare Highland Gem
This is a genuinely rare find. A well-aged Highland single malt from a distillery commanding cult status among whisky lovers, given an irresistible tropical twist by the rum cask finish — and bottled at an approachable, highly drinkable 45.5% ABV.
