Nose: Sticky treacle loaf, orange peels, and biscuity malt join robust oak, a touch of polished furniture, and chocolate raisins.
Palate: Heaps of orange – candied, marmalade, bitter peels, a touch of pith, coupled with creamy oak and bold notes of warming candied ginger. Old leather nestles in the depths, as layers of woody spice unfurl.
Finish: Drying oak, dried apple, spiced fruit loaf, and toffee, with lingering notes of bitter orange peels, nutmeg, ginger, and cinnamon warmth.
