We’re thrilled to announce that Samaroli whisky is now in Australia.
With The Old Barrelhouse being the official distributor of the brand, keep a look out for it at your favourite whisky bar and select independent retailers.
Samaroli warmly welcomes this Irish new addition to their 2021 range. A union between delicate Irish malt distilled in 1998 at the Cooley distillery and an ex-bourbon hogshead with a yield of 282 bottles released worldwide after 22 years of quiet slumber in Scotland.
Samaroli comments on the what inspired this expression:
“Like a child who comes from Ireland, we dedicate this bottling to all those who have left their home to seek their fortune… Without prejudice we are proud to present this selection. The marriage between Irish malt and ex-bourbon wood recalls the crossings of hearts and passions that from old Europe chased dreams into the new world. We love to teach our concept of quality without imposing notions and therefore we urge you to understand what is special and different about this bottle”
Samaroli is an Italian Independent bottler that was founded by Silvano Samaroli 1968, that select, age and refine premium spirits, from the greatest scotch whisky malts, to rum and other exotic drops. The elegance, balance, complexity, finesse and depth of flavour of Samaroli whiskies are without rival with a limited production of only 12,000 to 14,000 bottles per year in total.

Immediately an important background of structure with tones of ripe fruit and humid meadows opens the range of other drier and more mineral sensations. In the mouth it envelops surprising us with a complex evolution of olfactory shades. Everything develops in a calm way with a Jazz orchestra rhythm.
