We’re thrilled to announce that Samaroli whisky is now in Australia.
With The Old Barrelhouse being the official distributor of the brand, keep a look out for it at your favourite whisky bar and select independent retailers.
With a yield of 489 bottles released world-wide from a single cask (#900367), this Speyside single malt expression was distilled at the Craigellachie distillery in 2009 and then aged for 12 years in ex-bourbon hogshead barrels before been bottled in 2021 at 43% ABV.
Samaroli is an Italian Independent bottler that was founded by Silvano Samaroli 1968, that select, age and refine premium spirits, from the greatest scotch whisky malts, to rum and other exotic drops. The elegance, balance, complexity, finesse and depth of flavour of Samaroli whiskies are without rival with a limited production of only 12,000 to 14,000 bottles per year in total.
Official tasting notes.
Great personality. Pleasant fruit and floral aroma with traces of vanilla and liquorice. Smoked and rich on the palate. An excellent single with a silky slim body that glides off lightly and is round and delicious on the finish with an excellent aftertaste.
