Official tasting notes:
Nose: Notes of citrus zest, pineapple upside-down cake and fudge introduce this year’s Springbank 21-year-old. There is a savoury element in the notes of baked gam and tomato vine leaves, with subtle peat smoke coming through on the nose.
Palate: A tropical influence comes through on the palate in the notes of ripe mango, dried coconut and papaya, opening up to notes of liquorice, cola syrup, digestive biscuits, honey and a slight earthiness.
Finish: A long finish with notes of orange zest, campfire embers and caramel.

Description
Springbank is the oldest independent family-owned distillery in Scotland. Located on the southern Kintyre peninsula, it’s one of three operating distilleries in Campbeltown where all its whisky from malting to bottling is produced on the distillery’s property.
The Springbank 21-year-old is very well respected amongst lovers of single malt scotch and for good reason. Matured in 45% Bourbon, 20% Rum, 20% Sherry and 15% Port, it’s an inviting dram that offers spectacular complexity of flavour.
Please note: Due to the nature of Springbank’s packaging, almost all their expressions arrive from the UK with minor wear and scuffing to the top of the front and rear labels. Unfortunately, not much can be done about it so please be aware of this fact prior to purchasing.
