Official tasting notes:
Nose: Springbank’s gentle giant. This dram is big and bold with notes of cured meat, barbecued beef jerky, clove, mint, iodine, oxo cube and tinned prunes all evident from the Oloroso cask maturation, while lobster creels hint at Springbank’s characteristic maritime influence.
Palate: The peaty character is now evident with sooty kiln smoke and tobacco leaves prominent in this viscous tipple alongside prunes, walnuts, figs, Demerara sugar, cocoa powder and smoked meats.
Finish: The finish grows and develops with notes of soot, leather and walnuts prominent before easing off like the ebbing tide over one of Kintyre’s pebble beaches.

Description
The Springbank Distillery is revered by single malt Scotch whisky lovers worldwide, and this 15-year-old single malt, matured in ex-Oloroso sherry casks in Campbeltown, is a real highlight for Springbank fans. Distinct from its younger 10-year-old sibling, it delivers greater depth and complexity and is unquestionably a dram worthy of your attention.
As with all Springbank expressions, this Campbeltown single malt is bottled without chill filtration or added colour.
Please note: Springbank labels almost always arrive from the UK with minor scuffing and signs of wear on the top of the front labels. Unfortunately, this is unavoidable so please take careful consideration of this fact prior to purchasing.
