Bottling Notes

Having first been distilled in 1997, Hazelburn is the newest whisky to be produced at the Springbank distillery which is triple distilled and taking its name from one of the distilleries of Campbelltown’s past.

The last 18 months has seen Springbank spoil us with two special editions of Hazelburn in different casks. First came the Hazelburn 9-Year-Old that was finished for a few years in Barolo wine casks (which we have in stock 😉), and now we have a 13-Year-Old Hazelburn that was aged in a mix of first fill and refill Oloroso sherry casks. Distilled in October 2003 and bottled in March 2017, you can aspect lots of sherry inspired spice, dark fruit and espresso beans.
