Here’s another unique, cask-strength release from Campbeltown’s Springbank Distillery that was part of the Longrow, limited-edition ‘Wood Expressions’ range. The spirit was laid to rest for 11 years in refill ex-bourbon casks before being finished for a further 3 years in ‘fresh Burgundy casks’ from France’s famous wine region.

Definitely a whisky for peat lovers. Rare and discontinued, these Longrow expressions have created quite the cult following with both collectors and drinkers snapping them up in record time.
