Description
We’re incredibly excited to announce that the revered Independent Bottling brand ‘My Name Is Whisky’ (MNIW) is now available in Australia, exclusive to The Old Barrelhouse.

Aged for 23 uninterrupted years in a single, first fill bourbon cask, the bottling takes inspiration from Maya, a goddess who creates the illusion that the phenomenal world we see is real, serving as a reminder that whisky tradition is shaped by the unwavering passion of individuals, passed down through generations. We’ve become really fond of MNIW as their releases are incredibly crafted, rare and with serious age statements. As all MNIW expressions, the whisky was bottled at cask strength with no chill filtration or added colour.

The Packaging
The bottle is enclosed in a hand-crafted wooden box made by talented artisans in Italy. Each bottle is individually numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity with a booklet included, capturing the story of the bottle, its whisky, and the originating distillery.

Interesting Fact
The illustration on the label is a concept by Francesca Murat designed by Artist, Zeynep Ertunc. The design in inspired by the concept of Maya’s veil and the story narrated behind the bottle.
