Now here’s a rare piece of Macallan beauty. A beefy one litre sherry monster from days gone by that we believe was released in the late 1980’s for the export market. (feel free to correct us if we’re off the mark on this one).
The stunning colour is always eye catching as pure Macallan Sherry-Wood, as specialist craftsmen annually journey to the bodegas of Jerez (pronounced Hereth) Spain, where fresh oak casks are bought and filled with mature, carefully chosen sherries. They keep them filled for 3 further years in Spain before having them shipped to Scotland and filled with whisky.
Only one to sell.
