We’ll leave it to the distillery to describe this unicorn:
“This Macallan 1876 Replica has been painstakingly recreated, in its entirety, from an antique bottle originally filled with rare spirit distilled almost 130 years ago. 1876 Saw Victorian middle-class society obsessed with etiquette. A preoccupation not unknown to The Macallan of that time where the use of only the finest ingredients could also be described as verging on the obsessive. It is fair to assume The Macallan would have found much flavour amongst the polite of the day. We have taken the greatest case to ensure the bottle glass, the label set and of course the whisky are recreated as close to the original as they can be.”
This is the fourth Release in the Replica series and our only bottle to sell.
Please Note: The box has seen better days and shows signs of wear and age. It’s in good condition considering the colour and materials used. The bottle is absolutely MINT! – Please view all photos carefully prior to purchase.
