This much anticipated 2017 Folio 2 release is the second edition from The Macallan Archival Series recreating the old advertising styles of Macallan. Extremely limited and highly collectable, it went on sale exclusively at the Macallan distillery in Scotland with only 2000 bottles released and sold out immediately on a first in first served basis. Although having no age statement, the distillery has confirmed that it contains a minimum of 12-year-old whisky that was sherry cask matured.
Presented in a beautiful and delicate book shaped tin featuring a water coloured painting by Sara Midda, it also includes a hardback booklet which revisits The Macallan's original print, press & film advertising campaign from 1980-1994.
A stunning and rare release which should appreciate nicely over time. These beauties never made it to Australia and we only have 2 to sell so get in fast.
