The Macallan has unveiled a new range of four NAS (no age statement) whiskies exclusively for the global travel market: The Macallan Quest Collection. The collection is to replace its 1824 Collection in marking the brand’s most significant launch in over 10 years. The four variants – Macallan Quest, Lumina, Terra and Enigma aim to celebrate the distillery’s passionate and tireless quest for oak offering enthusiasts an exploration of flavour.

This offering is called ‘Enigma’ and is the pinnacle of the four-bottle range claiming Spain as its inspiration, sourcing its first-fill Sherry-seasoned hogsheads exclusively from Jerez. This rich and intense single malt offers up mature oak with subtleties of cinnamon, vanilla and dried fruit.

Macallan Master Distiller Nick Savage comments on the Quest collection:
“For this character-led range, the liquids are phenomenal. It’s succinct and coherent and we can tell the Macallan story through the casks we have used. The Macallan Quest Collection is presented in entirely new packaging which is both unique and visually stunning. The range also features ‘tamper evident’ closures, which create a visual sign of tampering, a technology that has been a long-time coming and welcomed by the international whisky community.
