Wolfburn Northland was matured for a minimum of eight years and bottled on-site at the Wolfburn Distillery in the Scottish Highlands. Northland is the distillery’s founding expression and flagship release. It represents a bold statement of intent from a modern craft producer with deep historical roots.

Cask Choice and Why It Matters
Wolfburn matures this whisky exclusively in American oak quarter casks. Quarter casks have a much higher surface-area-to-volume ratio than standard barrels, so the spirit absorbs wood character more quickly. This works especially well in the cool Scottish climate – ideal for expressing warmth and sweetness.
