Morven takes its name from the highest mountain in Caithness, the northern Scottish county where Thurso and Wolfburn Distillery are located. Its gentle smoky character pays tribute to Wolfburn’s historic roots, as the original 19th-century distillery relied heavily on peat as a fuel source.
Wolfburn Morven: A Delicate and Lightly Peated Single Malt
Wolfburn Morven is crafted from malted barley dried with peat smoke to a delicate 10ppm. Following slow distillation, the spirit is matured in bourbon casks within Wolfburn’s custom-built warehouses overlooking Scotland’s rugged northern coastline.
