Nose: Warm ruby port aromas drift alongside a delicate whisper of sea salt. Dried fruits slowly emerge – raisins, dark cherries and sultanas, in a deeply vinous embrace that hints at the extraordinary casks at work.
Palate: Luscious caramel and smooth vanilla arrive first, underpinned by beautiful wine-soaked flavours. Darker notes follow, gentle oak smoke and the rich sweetness of dates and figs with a supple, full-bodied texture and outstanding depth of flavour.
Finish: Long and warming. Caramel and dried fruits linger with quiet confidence, while those signature ruby port notes weave through to the very end.

As the first age-stated release in the Wolfburn Small Batch Series, this limited-edition whisky is restricted to just 3,900 bottles worldwide.
Matured for a Decade in Premium Ruby Port Casks
Wolfburn acquired the carefully selected Port Pipes in 2016 from a vineyard celebrated for centuries of winemaking excellence. Wolfburn filled the casks, sealed them, and allowed time to work its magic. Ten years later, the result is a beautifully mature single malt whisky delivering depth, richness, and complexity that more than rewards the wait.
Coastal Character Meets Port Cask Influence
The whisky showcases everything that has made Wolfburn Whisky one of Scotland’s most respected modern distilleries. Crafted using pure Caithness water, and matured in warehouses overlooking Scotland’s rugged northern coastline, this whisky develops a distinctive maritime character.
