In 1897, the Bottled-in-Bond Act revolutionized the quality of American whiskey. To be labelled ‘Bottled in Bond’ in the USA, a whiskey must be the outcome of one distillation season under one distiller at a single distillery. It then must be aged in a federally bonded warehouse for at least four years and then bottled at precisely 100 proof.

Carrying on that tradition, this well-aged bourbon comes from only barrels filled during the same distilling season and is bottled at exactly 100 proof for a bold taste and lingering finish—a testament to the Bottled-in-Bond Act established over a century ago.

The mashbill is undisclosed, but the bourbon-whiskey is marketed as high rye, and believed to be around 15% to 25% rye making for a suitably spicy expression.
