We’re delighted to introduce into our portfolio the Booker’s Limited-Edition Batch Collection from 2015 that are in stock and exclusively available here at The Old Barrelhouse. These bottlings have become extremely rare as collectors and connoisseurs snap them up before they’re even made available in liquor stores so here’s your chance to own a piece of highly collectable Kentucky history.
Booker’s ‘Noe’s Secret’ is the fifth and final release from the 2015 Booker’s batch collection and is testament to the robust recipe first created by founding distiller Booker Noe, 6th Generation Master Distiller and Fred Noe’s father.
Fred Noe (Booker’s son Beam Family’s 7th Generation Master Distiller), says it best….
“This batch’s name is a play on words, because Dad kept no secrets — in his life, or in the way he made his bourbon. He used only the best ingredients available, and made me promise that after he retired, the recipe for Booker’s would never change — and it hasn’t. Booker’s Batch 2015-06 offers fans the robust, full-bodied whiskey profile they’ve come to know and love, just the way Dad liked it”
Fred Noe is the great grandson of Jim Beam himself and this is the third batch in the 2015 series that he selected with the help of the Booker’s Bourbon Roundtable, a collection of esteemed bourbon experts, enthusiasts and writers including Paul Paccult, Geoff Kleinman and Jack Robertiello. An image of Booker’s recipe is displayed locked in a glass bottle on the front label and it’s also one of the youngest release in the 2015 collection having been aged for just over 6 years and 8 months, uncut and unfiltered at a soul warming 63.5%alc.
