Bottling Notes
The George T Stagg 2016 is a very limited release and part of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection which comes out in the USA usually around October and is aged in new charred oak barrels for no less than 15 years. It is bottled straight from the barrel at barrel proof, uncut, unfiltered and aged approximately 15 years and 4 months. Only 142 barrels were hand selected for this year’s release!
Impossible to find in Australia, these bottlings are as elusive as they are revered. They sell out immediately on release in America with demand so high that whiskey enthusiasts have been known to camp out the night before their release in hope of receiving a single allocation so be sure to add one to your collection or drinking stock today.
