In the early 1900’s when Jack Daniels’ health started failing, he passed on his distillery to his nephew (Lem Motlow) who went on to successfully run the distillery for over 40 years. Lem Motlow then went on to bottle some of the rarest Jack Daniels Tennessee whiskey in his own name and image using the same Lincoln County Process, leached through maple charcoal and aged in new white oak charred barrels.
Produced from circa: 1939 to 1992, Lem Motlow Tennessee whiskey was available in a variety of sizes and proofs. Limited in quantity and highly sought after, these bottles were sold out long ago and rarely ever come up for sale. This is the 375ml-Fake-Seal version that was released in 1989.
