Description:
Here’s a rare offering of single malt whisky made from spelt, a grain defined as a hybrid type of wheat and goat grass that has been around for over 5,000 years, purportedly originating from the Middle east.
In recent years Spelt has gained popularity as a health food grain and popularly used in Koval whiskey. Peter Bignell has never made these bottlings available for sale and only has the whisky on pour at his cellar door.
