Convict’s Arrow is a Tasmanian Independent Bottling of Lark Spirit and pays homage to the convict workforce of Tasmania’s past who spilled blood and tears to build the early infrastructure that created modern-day society. These workers arrived from the United Kingdom and brought with them the art of distilling which laid the foundations for all the wonderful whisky Australia is producing today.
To create this whisky, Dark Valley sourced ‘new make’ from the Lark Distillery that was distilled in November 2015 and matured the spirit in a 20L bourbon cask for 750 days at their custom build facility in Malbina, Tasmania. Once the whisky was deemed ready, it was then bottled at a cask strength of 62.5% alc yielding 30 bottles.
