Description:
Both Spring Bay and Sherry are back as another small-batch release from Dark Valley founder; Alex Moores using new-make spirit from Spring Bay Distillery on the East coast of Tasmania. The whisky was aged for 3 years and 4 months in sherry resulting in a rich and grippy whisky.
Dark Valley comments on this release:
“Horses’ hooves would clatter to a stop as the dashing thief would bellow “I’m after a prize tonight”, and the carriage would abruptly stop amid winds that were as a torrent of darkness. The wealthy were taken for their jewels and more, like an opulent cask being forced to surrender its flavour and enrich the spirit thief. A prized whisky that will reward you with warmth on a cold night.
