Producer’s tasting notes.
Nose: Toasted oatmeal and sweet malt with hints of citrus.
Palate: Lovely oily viscosity, marzipan and candied orange peel with well-integrated alcohol. A little water promotes the sweetness and highlights the malty notes.
Finish: Soft tingly alcohol lingers as the sweetness gives way to a pleasantly dry finish.

We love Aussie whisky finished in beer barrels when it’s done right – And Hobart Whisky, true to form, has nailed this release. A marriage of small American Oak Ex-Bourbon matured whisky finished in a Stout project cask from Last Rites Brewing Co. in Cambridge Tasmania.
Also comes in a robust, cylinder decorative tube that would display beautifully on your bar or whisky collection while you kick back sipping on some of Tassie’s finest.
