This Fannys Bay Pinot Shiraz Barrel “Cask Strength” Tasmanian whisky is a very limited expression from Mathew and Julie Cooper who run a bespoke, family-owned distillery on the Northern coastal waters of Tasmania. The lightly peated spirit has been aged in Shiraz barrel number 98 which yielded 30 bottles at a cask strength of 63.4% alc.

Please note: Although Fannys Bay only released 30 bottles, we only have 1 bottle left and it’s number 33. That’s because Fannys Bay generally bottle additional units for their tastings that aren’t released to the public and we happen to have their final tasting bottle. A rare little quirk indeed. 😉
