Nose: Freshly cut timber, sawdust, carob and vanilla. Morning porridge with maple syrup sweetness and ginger nut biscuit spice.
Palate: Cinnamon spice up front with lingering hints of nutmeg and star anise. Agave sweetness, finely sliced green papaya with a vegetal earthiness, with Long, spicy and lingering finish.
Finish: Long, spicy and lingering.

Description:
From the whisky library of Dan Woolley comes ‘Rye So Serious’, a tidy whisky that packs a real punch. Exclusively matured in a 40L American oak cask that previously aged an American rye whiskey, it’s given the single malt an intense spicy flavour profile. There were 46 bottles in the batch and bottled at a cask strength of 55% abv.
Like all Highwayman releases, this bottling sold out in under an hour on Highwayman’s website and Dan Woolly has sent a small allocation our way for our loyal supporters too.
