Description:
The Umami Bomber is a rare release that has flown under the radar from Highwayman Whisky as it was bottled exclusively for the Queensland Malt Whisky Society Expo that was held on the 15th and 16th of July 2022. Twenty-four bottles were split evenly between the Friday and Saturday sessions and Dan, in all his infinite wisdom sent a tidy allocation our way for our Highwayman supporters as well. Cheers mate!

For this expression, Dan Woolley took his peated spirit distilled at Lord Byron Distillery and aged the liquid in wet refill tawny casks before being bottled at a cask strength of 55% ABV. The result is a whisky brimming in crazy flavours of smoked soy sauce and salted plums.
