Nose: Smoked dried apricots, prosciutto and salted chocolate ganache with touches of orange chocolate Jaffa. Fennel seed and cumin earthy spices with flashes of soft mandarin oil with wafting peat smoke throughout.
Palate: Mixed citrus oils infused with heavy smoke and salt. A mid palate of creamy ocean drenched oysters smoked over burning seaweed with medicinal notes making appearances. Long and savory saltiness finish with crescendos of peat smoke.

Description:
This powerful and intense whisky is the product of Highwayman’s LBD peated spirit aged for 3 years in a 100L single French oak Apera cask. Big, bold and unapologetic in its delivery of flavour it has swiftly become Dan’s favourite release to date being the most peat forward Highwayman so far. The cask produced 130 bottles at 55% with only 50 going live direct through the Highwayman website that sold out.
