Nose: Beautiful soft sweet cereal notes meet butter menthol and chewy, thick, oozing caramels. Hints of sweet vanilla with flashes of very subtle saltiness.
Palate: Intense butter menthol upfront with an earthy, savory, camp fire smokiness hitting the mid palate with sweet vanilla and brown sugar syrups finishing with a slight creaminess akin to a Portuguese tart.
Finish: Beautifully long and savory

Description:
This edition of Highwayman whisky sees a unique maturation starting with Highwayman signature peated spirit aged in Tipo Jerez Mexican sherry casks and finished in refill wheated bourbon barrels from West Fork distillery in the US. – bottled unfiltered with no added colour @ a cask strength of 55% alc.
Chatting with Dan (owner and distiller) about the name, he mentioned that he named this whisky ‘The Indiana Gentleman’ as a nod to the West Fork whiskey distillery that’s based in Indiana, where the finishing barrels were sourced for this release.
