The more virtual entries you purchase, the more chances you’ll have to win when we fire up our trusty randomiser to select the final winner. The Highwayman Batch 2.4 whisky bottle is currently trading for upwards of $300 on the secondary market and every cent counts, so let’s raise as much money as possible and help our Tasmanian brothers and sisters find some comfort in their time of need.

The Back Story
Last month in Tasmania on April the 7th, Destination Cellars came together with Heartwood/TIB and Whisky Adventures for a fundraising event for Muscular Dystrophy Tasmania in the beautiful surrounds of Hadley’s Orient Hotel. We attended the charity event and a whopping $27,000 was raised.

During the event, we managed to win a bottle of Highwayman Batch #2.4 ‘Twenty Super Toasted’ Single Malt Whisky 500ml 55% from one of the silent auctions and we’d now like your help
to double down on our win by offering the same Highwayman bottle in this raffle with all proceeds going back to Muscular Dystrophy Tasmania as a double donation of sorts.

Where will the money go?
The moneys raised will go directly towards helping two families in Tasmania. One family is from Dunalley, and they have two boys aged 5 and 7 who both suffer from muscular dystrophy with the other family from Longford, consisting of a single parent with four siblings who also have special needs due to their condition. Funds will go directly towards things like helping fit Hydra-Therapy-Spas, electrical work, specialised personal equipment and a hoist installed vehicle to give these families and their children a better quality of life.

About Highwayman Batch #2.4 Single Malt Whisky
This whisky was triple matured starting life in a 100L French oak red wine cask before being transferred into 2 x 40L French oak tawny casks and finally finished in 4 x 20L refill wet tawny casks. It’s bottled at a cask strength of 55% ABV and makes for the perfect desert whisky. Like all Highwayman releases, this bottling sold out in under an hour on their website.
