Description:
This Cask Strength expression is the big brother of the standard strength 43% ABV, KD50 cask that was laid to rest for just under 6 years in a South Australian, 100L ex-Shiraz cask that was decanted and bottled in September 2024.

Kristy only chose to bottle 38 units at cask strength from Cask #KD50 and we have the only stock available on the mainland and online, with the expression not for sale on the Killara distillery website. Only a few of these beauties to go around. Don’t miss out.

About Killara Distillery
The distillery was established in 2016 by Kristy Lark-Booth and is located at 32 Ogilvie Lane Richmond, about 30min from Hobart in Tasmania. It’s the first distillery to be owned and operated by a second-generation distiller. The name Killara is a nod to Kristy’s parents, Bill & Lyn Lark who started the modern-day whisky industry in Australia back in 1992. Killara is the name of the street where Kristy grew up where the first distillery was registered over 150 years after the last distillery in Hobart closed its doors.
