Official Tasting Notes.
Nose: The Barossa Shiraz brings blackcurrants, under-ripe raspberries and native Tasmanian cranberry, while our single malt spirit dreams of an Adelaide summer, showcasing nectarines, mandarin, stone fruits, kiwi fruit and a nod to home with fresh apple skins.
Palate: The palate showcases jam, plums, more Tassie forest fruits and a hit of tannin. More local apples come through, with tropical fruits and an unavoidable oiliness and depth synonymous with both Lark Single Malt Whisky and Barossa Valley Shiraz.
Finish: Fruit aromas begin, followed by thick jammy notes. The whole experience ends with a hint of tobacco and a long, peppery finish. Superb with a roast dinner.
