Our Tasting notes.
Nose: Fresh floral aromas with waves of citrus, sweet vanilla and 3-milk-cake swirl into notes of crisp coconut, orange peel and spiced apple.
Palate: Honey-drizzled ripe banana and tropical stone fruits join the sweet vanilla from the nosing, bringing nuanced flavours of lemon, eucalyptus and cinnamon.
Finish: Lingering – lemon biscuits and white pepper, followed by a pinch of brown sugar and oak.

OCD alright….look at the packaging. I felt the need to film the unboxing and post it on instagram. (If I knew how). After some minor surgery I worked off the cork…and unwrapped this gift. The pavlovian snap of the cork and bourbon filled the air. No mistaking cask influence here. This was a joy and I hadn’t even got it into the glass. With a bit of air the bourbon aromas subside but it’s still a dominant in the tasting…too much maybe?
Much less Bourbon the second time around and my question was answered. It’s got a really nice mouth feel, a slight sweetness. If a Jersey Caramel and a Banana had a love child it would be this slight Apricoty delight. Hang on…is there a charr I’m picking up? I checked, it is. And there’s the black charred barrel piece floating in the bottom of my glass. No filtration here. This is a wonderful multi-dimensional experience. Okay now I’m getting Lychee I better stop there…
But I won’t stop. I’ll be back for more.
