Our tasting notes
The whiskey speaks for itself, so no need for convoluted tasting notes. It’s a huge yet delicate pour offering oceans of golden honey, beautiful silky tannins and savoury notes from the French oak cask. The mouthfeel offers never-ending lashings of viscosity and the finish is unabashedly indulgent and extra-long, with enough layers to satiate even the staunchest cask strength aficionados.
The perfect after-hours dram.

Description:
Here’s a special expression from our friends at OCD that marks their first whiskey release since moving their entire distillery to Lilyfield NSW. They quickly outgrew their original St Peters location and are fast moving onwards and upwards with some exciting projects and news they’ll be announcing in due time.
Aged for 37 months in a slow-growth, lightly toasted, 114L New French Oak (NFO) cask, this whiskey shares many of the beloved characteristics of previous classic OCD x NFO releases. It’s pure whiskey. From barrel to bottle, uncut, non-chill-filtered and as delicious as the night is long.
