Description:
Released in August 2022 via ballot, this French Oak ex-tawny (port) cask TD0311 was distilled in August 2008 during the Tasmania Distillery (TD) era under head distiller Patrick Maguire, and then decanted in August 2022 for a maturation of over 13 years in a single, first-fill 225L ex-Tawny, French oak cask. The whisky received exceptional scores for taste, texture and balance from the Sullivans Cove tasting panel. Bottled unflocked and unfiltered at 49.1% abv this cask produced only 276 bottles.

Sullivans Cove French oak ex-Tawny has become one of the most sought-after whiskies in the world, and the bottle that put the Australian whisky industry on the map after winning World’s Best Whisky at the World Whiskies Awards in 2014 and 2019.
